Title: Understanding
Author: [info]illezabeth
Genre: Fluff, Angst
Rating: PG/R?
Summary: After Countrycide Jack decides to drink himself into a drunken stupor in the attmept to forget that he almost lost his entire team. However his plans are spoilt by Ianto's interruption- although not in a bad way
Status: Oneshots
Warnings: Not entirely worksafe, implied sex and one or two minor swear words
Comment or Excerpt from fic:
Jack stared at him for several moments before pushing himself up and striding over to him as steadily as he could. He grabbed Ianto around the waist before he could protest and pressed his lips against the younger’s. Ianto squirmed in his arms in the attempt to break free but all he managed was a delicious friction that Jack’s body found hard to ignore.

It was hard for Jack to discern exactly when Ianto went from pushing him away to pulling him closer, or when his lips went from resistant to forceful but it was what he’d been waiting for. Finally everything that Ianto had been bottling up side himself came pouring out: his anger, his loneliness, his pain, his fear- Jack swallowed them all, trying to easy it away with steady lips and a caressing tongue.

Comment or Excerpt from fic:
“You know of all the lovers I’ve had, and there have been many, I thought you would be the one who didn’t do that.”
“Do what?” Ianto asked.
“The whole drama queen, put out boyfriend act,” Jack said, his face full of amusement. “I’m actually impressed I managed to evoke some sort of emotion in you.”
Ianto just scowled at him. “You’re calling me heartless?”
Jack rolled his eyes again and pulled the Welshman into his arms. “No, I’ve seen your heart and it’s beautiful.”
“Do you want to be alone? Is that it?”
“No,” Jack insisted. “I wasn’t dismissing you, I was letting you know you didn’t have to stay if you didn’t want to.”

Being a complete Suzie whore I was attracted to this fic before I saw that it was Jack/Ianto and I have to say that the plot is almost as good as a real episodes and the character interaction if spot on.

Title: In Two Minds
Author: [personal profile] laligin
Genre: Drama
Rating: PG13
Summary: Ianto's in trouble. Thing is, nobody's even noticed...
Status: Oneshots http://laligin.livejournal.com/37037.html (Sorry I'm an idiot)
Warnings: None
Comment or Excerpt from fic:
All of a sudden, Jack’s free hand snaked up to the back of Ianto’s neck, and he was pulled into an insistently passionate kiss. Startled, Ianto wondered if his unusually lacklustre response would be the clue Jack needed to realise that all was not right, but his captors didn’t make him react as he’d expected. Instead, when Jack moved closer and deepened the kiss, taking Ianto into his arms, Ianto found himself holding Jack tightly and moving his head to give Jack better access to his mouth, responding far less casually than he’d predicted. And yet he still had no control.

Title: Warm
Author: [profile] femmedelalune
Genre: Fluff, h/c?
Rating: PG
Summary: It's back to the Welsh Countryside for the Torchwood team, except this time they're minus tents and it's the middle of winter
Status: Oneshots (http://femmedelalune.livejournal.com/3553.html)
Warnings: Set sometime after the next series begins (though finale spoilers are minor at best), spoilers for Countrycide
Comment or Excerpt from fic:
Ianto buried his face in his knees. A few minutes passed. He felt a touch on his arm, and he jerked away instinctively. The cold had made him stiff, and he fell sideways in what would have been a flail of limbs, if they’d been working properly. Instead, he lay on the hard floor of the cave, side throbbing, slowly easing his legs straight and trying to ignore the painful pins and needles in his hands.

“Ianto?”

“I’m okay, sir,” he croaked, slowly pushing himself upright again. One leg was straight, but the other point blank refused. He felt a little scared.

Title: Playing by the Rules
Author: [info]fiyre
Genre: Angst
Rating: PG13/R
Summary: Jack and Ianto argue and then the Weevils escape from the cells.
Status: Oneshots http://shinypilot.livejournal.com/2566.html
Warnings: Warnings for blood, guts, gore and character death
Comment or Excerpt from fic:
But Jack was in no mood for being a considerate boyfriend at this particular moment; he was still too full of pent-up anger towards Tosh and Gwen’s blunder. “We’re at work, Ianto. Work hours. You know the rules, you know what that means.” He knew he was being unreasonable; it had been him who’d kissed Ianto in front of the others earlier, despite them being in work hours, but he didn’t take it back. That’s the problem with feeling unreasonable; it’s very difficult to stop once you’ve started.

Title: Travelling
Author: [personal profile] minervasolo
Genre: Fluff
Rating: PG
Summary: Jack thinks about coming back. Jack comes back.
Status: Oneshots (http://community.livejournal.com/jackxianto/68387.html)
Warnings: Spoiler End of Days (if that counts as a spoiler anymore)
Comment or Excerpt from fic:
"No," the Doctor says. "I'm sorry."

He doesn't suggest they go back. He makes excuses for himself. The Rift isn't a place he wants to expose the TARDIS to unless necessary, really. Torchwood hate him. He's needed, in so many other places. Jack's got so much more he wants to learn about himself. If they go back, Jack might stay, and it's been so long since the Doctor had a companion like himself. Immortal. He misses Romana.

Title: Mourning Rights
Author: [personal profile] fajrdrako
Genre: Angst
Rating: PG13
Summary: (None given) Personal: After End of Days Rhys wants answers and Ianto's the only one who can answer them
Status: Oneshots (http://community.livejournal.com/outside_bf/6690.html)
Warnings: Gwen/Rhys
Comment or Excerpt from fic:
"I'm sorry," said Rhys. It was a lie. He was sorry, all right, for Ianto, losing someone so close to him, but he wasn't in the least sorry to hear Captain bloody Jack Harkness was gay, and Gwen was not his type, and he'd been worrying about nothing. Gwen wasn't shagging her boss. Gwen's preoccupation with work had nothing to do with that. It really was work, dangerous, classified work that got Harkness killed in the line of duty.

Summary: Jack asks a simple question that gets a very lengthy answer. Fluffy-ish and very, very slightly angsty.

Comment or Excerpt from fic:
Ianto couldn’t go any further and his eyes on slightly widened when he brought his hands behind him to feel his fingertips brush against a wall. Pushing himself against it, he realized that Jack wasn’t stopping walking and vaguely wondered what someone would think if they were to walk in at that moment.

Title: Twilight of Rest
Author: [profile] demon_faith
Genre:
Angst, Drama, Hurt/Comfort
Rating: PG13
Summary: A fight, a fall, a storm – will Jack and Ianto survive to repair their relationship?
Status: Complete
Length: 2 (http://community.livejournal.com/jackxianto/76524.html Link to Chapter 1 at the top of the page)
Warnings: None that I can think of
Comment or Excerpt from fic:
Jack buried his face into the cold skin of his neck, breathing in what was left of his scent under murky river water, more pouring onto his head and him not caring.

“Ianto, please…”

Nothing, but shallow gasps of breath, flowing water. If Jack believed such things, he would have sworn he heard the footsteps of the Grim, seen the face of Death peering down at him, leering in the shadows. In truth, he heard nothing but the soft throbbing beneath his Ianto’s skin, that little flicker of life that prevented Jack falling away.

The top of his head brushed the grating and he let out a sigh. There was no desperation, no panic – a gentle acceptance of yet more death, more loss. They said it was peaceful if you didn’t struggle. He hadn’t died by drowning yet. One more experience for the list…
