Comment or Excerpt from fic: I'm seriously looking forward to read this fic cuz what could be better than TORCHWOOD IN VE~GAS, BABY!!! XD *pumps fist in the air* One craziness meets a craziness on an entirely new level, so insanity galore!
Starts off with Martha calling Torchwood about an unsolved case that'll take our TW team to Vegas. But even before the official mission as a team can start, Jack disappears and this mission now becomes very personal. Be aware of the warnings as they apply from chapter two itself.

EXCERPT:
The world always waited for Jack... It was a melancholy thought but this was Torchwood... There simply were no happy endings... He... wondered how a small blue box could trigger such an existential train of thought. Looking at Jack, he had to bite his cheek... at the irony... Offense, he thought, sometimes was the best defense and tried to convince himself that he hadn’t just fled from Jack... However, Torchwood did a very good job hardening its employees: ignore or die. He ignored... and his hands shook so hard that Jack took the coffee from him...
“Deep breaths,” Jack was there, always so close... too close... just right, “we’ll be okay.” And... Ianto found himself in Jack’s arms clutching his shirt as though he were drowning... It wasn’t a revelation by any means. He had known, realized and thought he had made peace with the fact that part of his heart had been torn out, but Jack, still incredibly close and warm, had known all along: there would never be peace.
