Comment: Blucougar's Another World is one of my favorite Torchwood fics to date. There's a lot to this story. It's long, and extremely well written. This fic manages to be both a character piece and to have an exceptional plot - usually stories tend one way or the other. It's also a crossover with Law and Order: Criminal Intent, but don't let that scare you away. The fic strikes a fair balance between the two shows, with perhaps a bit more focus on the Torchwood team. I'm not familiar with the Law and Order fandom, really, but I found it easy to slip into this fic. And of course it's Jack/Ianto, heaped on top of a mighty serving of angst as Jack tries to cope with the fallout from the year that never was, while leading his team and trying to catch a monster. And Ianto's there for him, which is written in a really sweet, believable way.

I'm puzzled - the name of the fic and the author are both listed. Sorry to be obtuse, I just can't figure out what you mean. I used the author's ff.net handle, though, because I don't know their lj handle - I don't even think this fic is on lj.

^_^ Sorry about the misunderstanding. :P I meant um on the Subject of the entry? Like, there's this line where you write the subject when you're posting something, and it says 'Subject' and there's a line where you can write it. (I am soo bad in explaining things >_<

Like um, the entry before yours has the SUbject 'Community Masterlist'

^_^;; It's just easier for people who go to the Calendar to see the name of the subject.

LOL. I have such a horrible addiction to FF.net, even though now I know better I still go there looking for fic quite often. Much of it is crap, but I love finding those random diamond-in-the-rough fics like this one.

And I think I'm getting vicarious joy from someone else reading and enjoying this fic. It really is wonderful, and I think that because of where it's posted it hasn't gotten as much attention as it might have otherwise.
