Those of you who also frequent

torchwood_house might notice that every so often, they'll have a themed rec list: they'll point you the direction of the community's recs and then step back to let you speak up.

So, we're going to take a page out of their book and do the same thing, for post Children of Earth fics.

So, bring out your dead. And your denial. The fics that made you cry one last time, or somehow managed to make you smile, and maybe just made it easier to take another half-step towards dealing with everything you felt after watching series three.

The Ballad of Ianto Jones (http://a-silver-story.livejournal.com/44387.html#cutid1) by a_silver_story. It’s set well after COE, with Jack returning to Earth to keep his promise to Ianto. Not as simple as it sounds, though, and there are some fascinating twists involved before the story is resolved.
