Comment or Excerpt from fic: I’m sure there are a few Janto crazy people out there that wish that “KKBB” went a tad bit differently - *coughespeciallyJackandGwenscenecough*. So, imagine my happiness when I could add another version of canon KKBB to my collection! A little angst & hurt/comfort, some Gwen-bashing mixed together and topped with a nice dose of romance and smut! ^_________^

EXCERPT:

Jack Harkness had never been categorized as a coward before. He’d sometimes been selfish, almost certainly been vengeful - for those who deserved it. You could also say he’s been downright cruel at times but he’d never been as cowardly as he was right now.

Hey, kids. Did you miss me?

Silence... His team said nothing, just looked at him, various expressions of shock on their faces. Except for one.

No, Ianto had always been very careful at keeping his emotions in check. Something came into his eyes... but before Jack could decipher it, it was gone. Jack kept his grin firmly in place, not letting the fact that his heart was doing flip-flops at the bottom of his stomach... He could deal with their anger over leaving them without a word... deal with their rejection even…all but one.
