Title: Keeping Up With The Jones'
Author:
geordie_star and
killer_queen87
Rating: PG/PG13
Summary: Ianto takes Jack home to meet his family.
Status: Complete + WIP sequel
Length: 4
Comment or Excerpt from fic: This is my favourite story wrote, or co-wrote, by
geordie_star. I like Ianto's family reactions to his relationship with Jack, it felt very realistic. Plus there are some cute Jack/Ianto scenes as well.
Chapter 1 Excerpt
Ianto fidgeted with his tie nervously as he waited for someone to answer the door. Jack was minding his own business when he felt two hands grab his shirt collar and start to adjust it. He had never seen Ianto this nervous and stressed out before. The younger man then started to brush down his coat with his hands, "It's a good job I got this dry cleaned for you, my mam would have a fit if she saw the state of it before and believe me an excuse of 'it's not my fault, I didn't know that creature could spit out green slime' would not work with her."
Jack grabbed Ianto's hands and pulled them away from his coat, "Stop fussing, Ianto. It's going to be fine, you've dealt with much bigger situations than this."
"Give me a sick Weevil or an irate pterodactyl any day over this."
