Comment or Excerpt from fic:
I'm not very good at this, its just a great fic, very engaging, and i couldn't stop reading it. The spelling and grammar isn't great in the first 2 chapters but it clears up after that. :)

"Don't be ridiculous, I'm not going to be pregnant am I?"

Owen looked at him with a cocked eyebrow.

"Come on!?" Ianto laughed nervously, running a hand through his fringe.

"We have a Dinosaur living in our secret underground lair where we dissect aliens and play with alien artifacts that fall through a big hole and you are telling me with absolute certainty that there is no way that you could possibly be up the bloody duff?!"

Title: Suddenly You're Older
Author: [livejournal.com profile] aerinbooke
Genre: Romance, Angst
Rating: R
Summary: Ianto sits alone in the dark, playing Judy at Carnegie Hall.
Status: Complete.
Length: Oneshot.
Warnings: Spoilers for 'Lost Souls', non graphic sex.
Comment or Excerpt from fic: I have absolutely not read anything good like it. It makes you wish this is what they had. Maybe it is what they have. Personally, even trying to come to a conclusion of what Jack and Ianto really are makes my head hurt. But this fic makes you understand it in a way that you want it to be canon. It makes you tingle, and the structure is just brilliant. Amazing story, it is.

He reaches a hand out and strokes Ianto’s cheek with the backs of his fingers, eyes softened by the muted quality of the record and the poignancy of sitting in the darkness with the pleasantly low-fidelity music washing over them. Ianto turns his face to look at Jack and there’s so much of Judy’s struggle, Judy’s faith in the poor young man’s eyes it takes his breath, makes him cup Ianto’s cheek all the more tenderly, the more closely.

A one man woman looking for the man that got away.

When he moves again it is because Ianto moves first, leaning gently into Jack’s body, arching up to meet Jack’s mouth with his own. This part they can do; this part is easy; this part is forever. His mouth is cool and sweet, his tongue is soft and languorous, his breath is deep and slow. For the first time in his long, long afterlife, Jack has found a place he isn’t thinking of leaving.

Title: Glass
Author: [livejournal.com profile] kiwi_from_hell
Genre: Angst, Smut
Rating: NC-17
Summary: The Torchwood Institue has always reminded Ianto of glass. It's physics and sex.
Status: Complete
Length: Oneshot
Excerpt from fic:
~_~_~_~_~_~

The Torchwood Institute has always reminded Ianto of glass. Despite the dark metal struts and hard, plastered walls, he can’t shake the association. He’s in a prism; light refracts and splits, it makes blinding focus. He’s had it since he started working there, or perhaps, he sometimes wonders, since he first saw Jack working there.

Not since he first saw him, he fleetingly reminds himself. Nothing remains from the first meeting. In the course of the interview, all candidates were introduced to the workings of the institute, as well as some of its more unusual residents. As procedure dictates, they then took a drink with the Captain that erased their memories. All the best drinks with Jack do that.

Title: Lost and Found
Author: [livejournal.com profile] kaneko
Genre: Angst, General, Romance
Rating: PG13
Summary: Straddled over the rift, the Hub was a place where things were lost and found. Strange objects washed in like driftwood. Things went missing. There was never any sign of where they'd gone.
Status: Complete
Length: Oneshot
Excerpt from fic:

It was disconcerting, but a lot of things about Torchwood were. Ianto got used to it like he got used to feeding weevils and cleaning up alien slime. He put everything in its place when he left each night, and if a few train timetables or coffee cups were missing in the morning, if an odd sock appeared, he tried not to pay it too much heed.

Tosh told him she'd found the whole thing alarming at first. "I thought I was going crazy," she said. "I'd put a folder down, and whoosh! It'd be gone. And I still don't like it. I mean, this stuff is confidential. It doesn't stop being confidential if it washes up on Bizarro Weevil World." She tapped her pen (not one of the alien ones, Ianto hoped) against her mouth. "Perhaps we could devise a code," she said thoughtfully. "Something Bizarro weevils wouldn't be able to crack."

"Oh, it's just that I'm really, really busy," Owen said. "With-" He gestured vaguely towards the autopsy table with his coffee mug, then seemed to realise the table was empty. "Um." He shrugged. "Yeah, basically, I just don't want to go."

Jack smiled warmly. "That's fine," he said. "Because I really, really needed someone to start on the annual expenditure report anyway." He ignored Owen's groan and Ianto's belated "Oh, but I wouldn't mind starting on the-" and headed to the door. "Perk of being the boss," he said. "I get to pick. Ianto-" he glanced at Ianto, and Ianto felt his heart sink even more. "You're with me." "Tosh, could you stay and provide intel?"

"Not a problem," Tosh said. "Oh," she added. She looked up from her screen. "Better pack your waterproofs. It's raining up there."

Jack jumped. How did Ianto do that? How did he slip into a room so quietly? Maybe they had the wrong guy serving them coffee. That could be a useful talent for a member of Torchwood to have. "Now why would I do that?"

"Because I'm feeling... I believe the word would be," Ianto left a delicate pause. "Frisky."

"Frisky?" Jack laughed. "I don't think I've ever-"

Title: Warmth to Wax
Author: [livejournal.com profile] randomeliza
Genre: Romance, PWP
Rating: NC_17
Summary: When Jack asks him, later that day, if he’s really as rude as all that, Ianto doesn’t hesitate to say yes. It’s true, after all.
Status: Complete
Length: Oneshot
Comment or Excerpt from fic:
~_~_~_~_~

When Ianto says that Jack has bad manners in bed, he’s not joking. He says it flippantly, loving Gwen’s wince and Jack’s strangely embarrassed cough, because Gwen bothers him almost as much as Owen even if he can’t put his finger on why, and because he’s never quite managed to fluster Jack the way Jack flusters him. The bad manners thing, though, is completely true.

Ianto says please. He says it a lot, actually, in situations in and out of bed, whether he’s in a suit (more often than not) or a t-shirt (rarely) or handcuffs and a ball-gag (twice). He says it when he asks the pizza place to please, please take Torchwood off their listings and replace it with something else less classified. He says it to Owen when he asks him to please stop acting like an ass, which doesn’t work. He says it to Tosh when he’s trying to get her to teach him how to hack into the Pentagon’s files on Jack’s Doctor, which works brilliantly.

Title: Shiny Prize
Author: [livejournal.com profile] lightgetsin
Genre: General, DW crossover, team-fic
Rating: PG13
Summary: Jack had been dead for a day and a half – thirty-four hours and twenty-five minutes, as close as Ianto could figure it – when the lift started coming down. (Sort of an AU of End of Days)
Status: Complete
Length: Oneshot
Other Pairings: Jack/doctor
Excerpt

The stranger crossed to Jack and conducted a rapid examination – fingers to the pulse at the throat, ear to the chest, a peek behind the eyelids, sniff to the mouth and then, bizarrely, a quick flick of the tongue to the underside of his jaw. “Hmm!” said the stranger, and dug in his pocket for something which vaguely resembled a screwdriver, whose glowing tip he passed back and forth over the Captain’s body. “Ah-ha,” he said, straightening abruptly. “You actually had me worried there for a minute.”

“What is it?” asked Gwen eagerly.

“He’s not dead, for starters,” said the man, then pulled up short. “Well. Mostly not dead – well. Temporarily dead. Come around in his own time, when he’s good and ready.” He puffed out his cheeks. “Unfortunately, I haven’t the time to be standing around scratching my head waiting – well, I have got the time, but I’m bollocks at waiting.”
