No ones ever called me beautiful before. Good looking, handsome, yes, even gorgeous a time or two (honestly, I’m not just saying it) but never beautiful. So when the word left Jack’s lips, I had no idea how to respond and I’m completely appalled to admit, even here, I blushed. I shouldn’t have been surprised, though. Jack does have the tendency to bring out the worst in me…
