Ianto Jones could count the times he had seen Jack Harkness being nervous and uncertain on his hand... That was over the course of five years. Earlier that afternoon was the fourth time when Jack asked Ianto if they could go out for dinner that night...

“So what’s going on, Jack?”

“Well… I need to talk to you... but... I don’t know how to start.”

“Just say it.”

“Ah shit,” Jack mumbled under his breath. “Okay. Fine... Remember that I told you I was pregnant before?”

Ianto nodded… Jack stared into Ianto’s eyes, forcing himself not to look away... “Ianto, I’m pregnant.”

Ianto’s jaw dropped.

Ianto rolled his eyes... “I believe it’s your turn to cater our fine Captain,” Ianto commented dryly, glaring at Gwen.

“Oh no. Not me. I know why the others are so eager to spend more time out on the field,” Gwen stated. “’Cause if I could, I would.” She smirked up at Ianto, while leaning back in her seat.

Ianto glared at her... “You promised you’d help me,” Ianto pointed out to Gwen.

“The way I figure it,” Gwen replied, “it’s all your fault anyway...”

“It’s never my fault,” Ianto huffily insisted.

Gwen smirked up at him. “Yeah. I suppose Jack got himself up the duff.”

“Jack initiated that time, yes. So it is his fault.”
