“JACK!" ... Gwen screamed in his comm... "I just need to you to get back here – quickly.”

“Gwen?! Ianto?!” shouted Jack, running through the cog door, half expecting to find a rampaging alien loose in the hub or at least the team suffering from multiple injuries.

Instead he heard the sound of a child’s shriek and before he knew it a small boy – who was wearing one of Jack’s T-shirts like a dress - launched himself at Jack, hugging him tightly round the knees, jabbering away about something. Jack stared down as the boy looked up at him with large blue eyes that look scarily familiar. Jack yelped in surprise as the child was suddenly joined by another toddler, a dark haired, scrawny boy who looked very like…

”Owen?” asked Jack with a growing dread.
