Which wasn't to mean that he didn't love or was using Ianto because he couldn't be with Gwen. Oh no... Everything about Ianto undid him in ways that he hadn't felt in all his life; much like Gwen, he had a hold on him in a way that he couldn't explain...

No. He wasn't using Ianto. He truly did love him... he completed him in ways that Gwen couldn't... and it was more than sex. It was as though the two of them had their lassoes around his heart... yet he didn't feel torn. His heart belonged to both of them and whether they knew that or not was irrelevant. Even though Gwen was married, in some way, she belonged to him. In his heart, she was his and Ianto was his in all other ways that a lover could be. He had Gwen once, he had her for a brief, passion filled moment, but he had Ianto for the rest. He knew the man was up to the challenge. There wasn't a need for words - Jack knew how Ianto felt.
