Comment or Excerpt from fic: Oh this is one of the most emotional fics I've recently read! As much as I like happy fluff, I DO have a thing for emoing OTPs and favorite characters and both Jack and Ianto do it SO well! This is a painfully heartbreaking fic with a broken!Ianto at the verge of ending it all. Make note that this fic deals with DARK themes, so BEAR THE WARNINGS IN MIND!

EXCERPT:
The candles flickered, casting twitching shadows across the... walls and... stained glass windows. The pews were... facing a... altar on a dais. The sun was... casting a bloody glow through the ornate glass behind it, the colours blending... and painting the sole occupant of the room. All was silent, except for the soft clicking of beads knocking together as a rosary was clasped between desperate, lonely hands. The door opened and creaked, making the man sitting... tense and snatch the beads up.
“Have you come for confession, son?” An old, kindly voice asked...
“No... just came to get my head together.” The man answered... avoiding the father’s eyes... he strode... to the door at the back. He paused for a moment and glanced at the... shelving filled with tea-lights. After a moment’s thought, he picked up a fresh one and lit it, placing it carefully on the... row before slipping out of the room.
