“Shit.. I was really hoping I’d got it wrong.” He wrung his hands for a while before sighing and looking up at Ianto. “You know how I said I wasn’t going to get pregnant again?”

Ianto just stared at him. “You have got to be kidding me…”

His pulse throbbed violently and he could hear crazed laughing inside his head, wheezing that this was what it had all finally come down to. He was going mad. The cackle raged inside, throwing itself at the walls of his head until it became palpable.

Ianto opened his mouth in surprise. Someone really was laughing.

And it wasn’t him.

It was Jack.
